So what's funny then ?,,,I put CJ on my mate dave so he could get a cage done at a very good price and and even ended up spraying the outside of the car for him for next to nothing as a favor so the car looked good when it left him and then he doesn't even get a mention ? ,,,putting a few parts onto a car isn't building it IMO,, building is the fab work that goes into this sort of car and DM Motorsport has done all that !

Your whats funny! If you believe " putting a few parts onto a car isn't building it" then why do sooo many people fail at the simple task.......? Surely its cjs decision to recommend who he likes, not yours!
Anyway end of conversation xx

Any way back on topic lol
Car has had the engine dropped back in now, and an old inlet manifold is in place to be able to custom make the cooler pipes from the inverted core,
Also the new exceedy pink box clutch has been installed, the brake servo has had an overhaul plus the fuse box is back in place
Also the gear leaver has been changed for a genuine sti one
Next is the custom fuel lines, brake lines, cooler pipes etc lots to do....

Right a due update me thinks....
Basically car is now going back together thanks to car&customgarage, looms are being custom made, fuel rail custom mate, lots of custom work being done so fair play to nik!
Fitted my carbon rcm reverse scoop
Bit of a back step to when the engine was put together
With the pink box exceedy fitted and solid engine mounts
The alternator, bracket, inlet etc etc has all been sent off for polishing to bling up the bay a little so will be sweet wen it all comes back!
Mocal catch tank mounted
Spec c in tank anti surge set up with rcm aeromotive pump
Interior wise
Dash starting to be custom made
Behind the passenger seat will house the odesey pc680 race battery and relocated washer bottle
Behind the drivers seat for the lifeline electronic plumbed in extinguisher kit
Also under seat for the cartek electronic kill switch system
More to come as things develop!

Bit of an update still waiting on a few parts to come back from different places to go to the next stage but collected these today from polisher/ chromeing
And mocked up the header tank and new sti rad cap too for fun
Hopfuly will be getting a good hit on it over the next couple of weeks so should be nearly finished in a month!

Great job on the polishing that is far from easy or a five minute job. Just be mindful on how you clean it, autosol or similar will put tiny scratches in it you will be best off using a metal wax product to keep the depth of shine, you need a product with zero abrasive content.

Ye cleaning will be a mission but I do quite sadly enjoy spending hours detailing my car so more fun than a chore :-)
But yes any advise on best products or methods much appreciated :-)

Loving the lime green mate, looks good. Got all my parts underneath in Kawasaki green too. Them wheels looks the bollocks too, wish you could get tires with white writing for the road but no one seems to do it. It's looking good tho.
