Yes my preference is Android but I have family and friends who are clueless about technology, like most iPhone users

Tbh after one day of looking at the new icons they dont actually look that bad. They look a little bigger but might me my imagination and some brighter colours. Still dont like the light blue band of background for Safari / Music etc.

Well dunno if I'm missing something, does this work with iPhone 4? I've just downloaded it through "settings" "software update" it took about an hour, downloaded then prepared then turned my phone off and restarted, any hey presto it's exactly the same and my phone is still telling me to update to ios7 lol

I hate technology!

One of th reasons I was sceptical about the '5' was it had a dodgy life already, but one of the wife's mates is now charging her phone twice a day

Useful tips there. I've turned off the location services and quit the more powerful apps once I've finished using them. Battery is at 65% so pretty sure it'll be fine till I sleep. I'm on a '5' btw.

Having run it now for 2 days I have to say I'm beginning to hate it.
The colours in email and safari are just too white. The delete button keeps disappearing when wanting to delete messages and emails.
You try and delete and it ends up opening the email.

And my battery life has been horrific today. Just on the desk at work for 3 hours reduced the battery life to 50%

My battery is almost dead, thought it would be okay but I've just turned off the motion parallax effect. I'm not fussed though.

Is that what's killing the battery ?
I've got everything. Else turned off. Apart from that.

All the above just confirms for me not to update my ipad. It's perfect as it is for what I want so no reason to risk ruining that.

I would guess it's quite a big power user because it's accessing the motion sensors in the phone constantly?

I have updated my girls iphone4 without issues.
I have also disabled a number of apps, bluetooth , wi-fi , location , auto app update , advertising tracking and a number of privacy functions to conserve battery life.

I've managed to resolve all of my IOS7 issues after spending 15-minutes in the vodafone store - I now have a HTC One
