If you aren't in, anyone can take pictures of your house from outside, I know etc. But if you are in, would you like someone taking pictures of your house from outside?

 

But thats not what happened , he called at the door and told him what he was doing , and the OP watched him do it.

My point is that the OP doesn't trust the geezer (ref: OP's opening post), but he lets him go ahead with drilling a hole on his wall, and taking some pictures as well. Thus unconsciously the OP does trust him, and mistrusts his own mistrust, if you know what I mean. what I'm saying is that OP needs to investigate his own vulnerability; regardless of that random eco-residential bloke being dodgy or a real thing.

 

True , if you let someone go that far even though you are suspicious of him (even if its innocent) imagine how far I real conman could get. Although I get the impression he didnt think about it till afterwards.
