I would go Steve with the aftermarket deep dish steering wheel,we run previously small steering wheel on track and drag strip, but now with deep dish we can see easily on dash, with smaller we are been unable to see whole daash

Jura, I take it that its the OMP wheel that you recommend? How easy are they to fit with an airbag wheel and what sort of costs will a similar one set me back?

Just curious why you are still running a Toucan with the race dash? All the sensors the Toucan does are shown on my MXL dash ?

Hi Steve

I would go with OMP deep dish wheel, but you can have look too on the Sabelt which is similar to OMP,prices speak to Dave Garret over here, think he selling them for good prices and usually cheaper than online, you will need too boss kit, speak to Alyn@AS Performance I'm sure he will help you sort one and maybe he will help you too with the sourcing the steering wheel

Steering wheel usually cost from £100(yes you can buy fake/copy on eBay for £50),boss kit from £50 and there should be Airbag resistor which cancel Airbag light, price for fitting the steering wheel, not sure, but this doesn't take more than 1 hour(2 hour max) I would say

About the Toucan,is good to have both I would say,on Toucan you can easily see alarms/trips etc

On Dash you have displayed all data/sensors,but there you don't have something like have Toucan(trip function plus other bits),which can help

We prefer to have both

Fitting is easy mate, but I'd recommend the work bell boss which is about £100 - fit is perfect every time and comes with the airbag resistor

I've seen other bosses, including OMP, that wouldn't fit

Cheers Jon I will have a look at those later as an aftermarket wheel seems good for me as I can take it off which is definitely good for theft prevention

Thanks there

Cost of the Dash2 is around £500 plus VAT without the CAN cable(CAN cable cost from £100 this depends on ECU),out is DASH2 PRO which cost over £600 with function like GoPro control,GPS onboard etc

About the fitting the Dash,I would speak with Race Technology about the fitting,Kieran there is real top bloke which can help you or can fit for you the Dash,I think Race Technology now offering the free fitting on their Dash2 PRO plus 20% on the price of the Dash2 PRO

Hope this helps

You will see there,I would speak with Andy@Race Technology,he selling the Dash2 or any Race Technology Dash's for less than are on the website

Not sure on the Rally day,we are planning only few track days and drag runs, hill climbing maybe at Czech or Slovakia is on the cards too, after we will see

Hi, I have just joined the forum as we are looking for some help in setting up a standard plug-and-play kit for the V4/5/6 Impreza but we haven't yet found a car to use to get the system developed. If anybody is interested in this please contact me directly through PM or email mhill at race-technology.com.
I have tried twice to contact the site admin to ask permission to ask about this on here but had no response so I'm trying the direct approach!!
