Default Show Us Your Dashboards

Hi All

Lets see some pics of some nice dashboards that people have in their cars.

Emphasis on luxury/style/class and not on simply having the biggest, most defi gauges.

A lot of sports car have amazing luxury gadgets in their dash.

I don't remember his name but a guy on here has a black 4 door new shape, sedan which he is slowly upgrading....different switches, touch screen etc....that is what I meant by luxury.

it depends what you want from the car.

mine is a road car so I still have carpets, back seats for the kids but have added sat nav and hands free phone and ipod connection.

personally id never remove the stereo, but if it was a track/weekend car id consider it

Still a work in progress...

Some flocking and some plastidip, some more bits to plastidip when I get around to it and some flip switches to fit in anticipation of LC and ALS but you get the idea

I much prefer the gloss black efforts on the centre rather than matte.

i dunno in the flesh plastidip matte black does look great. With gloss really you need it painted properly and not from a rattle can, otherwise it will look like poop. With plastidip u can be a complete spaz with a rattle can n still get a silky smooth finish

Yeah that's a fair comment, I'd prefer mine in OEM colour than matte black though

Each to their own!

I wonder how awkward it could be to vinyl wrap it, may be best of both worlds.

Quite a few ppl on here have done the carbon wrap, its pretty straightforward, bit of heat to mold it etc is all that you need.
