For now she is staying like this, yeh John it got a lot of attention and some nice feed back from people......heard a few times nice wheels.....WOW look at the brembos lol

Also popped over to see the revolution boys for a few pictures side by side....

That engine bay's a bit marmite but the rest of the car, wow! Love those arches, to my (Bug) eyes they are looking suspiciously like a must-have. Great work mate

Just a quick update then hopefully moving onto the next stage of the demo the interior......so a few pictures to wot I done and never updated most have seen it but still a lot haven't so here goes...

First there were the standard centre caps that come with the wheels....IMO they should of been the matte black like with the flat black alloy they do.....so flat black they went and also with custom centre caps to finish....picture showing the brembos too

Then I painted the piaa horns and new stickers....IMO gives the front end a different edge with it been de badged...

The slam panel also painted up and added graphics ....one of the best mods as every picture took its showing the company name and it's had a lot of attention of late..

Also painted the oil catch can to suit and added the hydro hornet to it and oil filler cap.....

Along with that painted top mounts....

The engine bay plastic were done to suit the manifold in the carbon effect with the inner lights and brembos...

Also fitted wind visors was close to coating them but glad I never they blend in just right...

Then the rear diffuser fitted and the yellow detail makes it stand out just enough..

So next up the plan is to start the interior , am also wanting to change the pattern on the intercooler pipes but going to work on the interior ideas for now.....new head unit fitted and this wk am going to go 6.5 speakers front and 5.5 rears then hoping to add a slimline sub n amp under the seat...

Had an idea of playing DVDs showing the process of dipping ect....possibly a few screens under the bonnet at shows doing the same...

Also got this lovely lot to fit but no door cards so abit of re trimming will be goin on I guess....

Not sure as to wot am going to do on the interior but am thinking a black brushed alloy on centre console ect and maybe a matte carbon on the pillow trims.....to be continued

It's been a while a lot has happened and my thread updates have slipped :-/....

So the engine come out and the rebuild commenced, with it already having a 2.5 conversion the plan to stick with it and strengthen and forge the internals with better parts, the bottom end took the bulk of the funds and is now a 2.5 closed deck rated with internals around 700bhp

Also at the same time I got the chance to sell my turbo on a MDX321t and the cash from that pretty much done me for a straight swap to a MDX321v modified bigger wheels front and back......this now will produce around 550bhp on v power alone with supporting mods......

Headers and up pipe changed also bigger injectors to follow after running in stages

So next up while engine was out was too have a little change around with the finishes and the dipped parts......

Water bottle got a nice soft touch finish to it adding company logo...

Also wanted a change on the cam covers....rocker covers and went with a gears of war pattern.....skulls n cogs hell yeh why not!

Just the centre cam cover leaving a carbon look on the left and right....these all finished in a soft touch clear resin which has a rubber feel to it......the other changes were the slam panel......over flow bottle and the intercooler pipes......on the pipes I chose the flat bronze colour to match the wheels injecting abit of a different colour but keeping with the car....

Likwidart grafix to finish with logo...

Also the likes of alternator brackets....injector covers....throttle cable bracket all finished in soft touch yellow.....

Abit reconishion this year at the NBO with a second place in class

Managed to get a nice deal on some WRC carbon wing mirrors the only real carbon on the car tut tut tut :-/

The interior also have a few changes I sourced the wr1 door cards and dipped the centre console in a flat matte bronze brushed alloy effect along with door handle switches ...

I've also got pillar plastics am going to do something with but not sure yet? Maybe just a black soft touch finish as it's really holding up on the handles and looks good over a gloss finish on interior parts.....

So the car is now run in and mapping is due 21st of August.....I bought the bigger maf pipe to be able to run that extra power but words with bob Rawle the standard ecu will not manage the charge temps put out by the modded 321v so am left at the moment with a conservative map till I get an aftermarket ecu! Had to hold that back as I moved the business to kent and other commitments forcing the cash flo issue :-( something to look forward to I guess :-).....

Few pictures took this year at shows and general ...

Like farther like son my boy checking out the handy work or the wheels haha

That's if for now and I've a few more plans in store....for now get it mapped and enjoy it again.....cheers for looking locky

That re-done engine bay is so much better than it was before (IMHO), now your car looks truly amazing. Perhaps the only mod required is to cut off that top lip in the bumper to get more air to the I/C.

Id also like to add am no longer a partner in hydrotek! New venture and moved on to try something new, So my plans for the car! Am going to get it back for myself ....few changes planned when is another question finding the time lately is proving difficult ....
