the irony of that is today i seen this


is this the lambda in the exhaust just below the intercooler were the turbo sits ?

would this read code 22 ?

DONT THINK SO

you sure you counted the flashes right? long ones are tens short bursts are ones.....

Yea mate checked now 5 times just to be sure only comes up with 1 code which it repeats 22

that is firked and code 32 is 02sensor but will throw cel on a long uphill cruising/using throttle at 70-85mph . if 02 is dead car will use fuel like its going out of fashion, and splutter on warm up from cold but will drive fine once warmed up , take that out put it in a vice connect earth from a multimeter to sensor body in vice, set multimeter to 2volts and put live from multimeter to signal wire from sensor, the heat up with a gas blowtorch, once hot voltages should go to 0.9v max and go up and down as you apply and remove heat

I've got the same on my 2005 sti. O2 sensor apparently. It's been ever since I have been using the new vpower nitro stuff. Mmmmmm I wonder if there's a connection.

funnily enough the guy i bought it from must of been a numpty as he ran it on cheap unleaded

i filled it up with v power before i drove home and the next day this happend ? link maybe

I've always used v power but since they have changed to the nitro it came on. Could be a coincidence but it could be a link.

Strange this, I put 50 quid of the new v power stuff in this weekend and my cel light came on , running fine, 06 sti hawk.!

Yep the car is running mint, it's just bought up the damn light which I checked straight away and told me it was O2 sensor.

it brought mine up i checked and its knock sensor and the car is hesitant on boost then popping and spluttering after boost but driven off boost its fine
