Since when could Arsenal not afford him? if they break their own restraints they can afford anyone just as much as any other club in the world. Its well known the money is there to spend and they are going to start doing so. Surprised personally at the move for Suarez mind.

I didn't want him at Arsenal and it was never going to happen anyway, his only reason for showing interest in Arsenal was because he wanted to engineer a move to Real Madrid and force their hand but that wasn't going to be forthcoming due to their chase of Bale. I expect him to try it on next Summer to see if he ends up at Real.

As for us Gooners though, I can't see any big names turning up, even Gustavo is now on the radar of Napoli. That fat Spaniard Benitez really has got a thing about poaching Arsenal targets from under our noses. Serves Wenger right though for messing about over signings.
