In the meantime I have started a new job so went out looking for a new motor.. really wanted the new 2016 ford ranger wild track 3.2 for towing scooby etc. So off I went to food offered me a great deal over the phone. Then got in looking at the deals and wasn't as good as they made out.. bit gutted tbh.. so I went round looking at 335D saloon etc etc... then got a call off my mate who had his 2011 cupra R up for sale.

He's had it since near new. So know the car myself which is always good. Full history and he's spent a small fortune on it over the last 18months..

It's running 370/425 which I know is a lot for a FWD car. But in the dry it handles it quite well. Such a great car to drive and only 26k on the clock.

Can't beat black wheels IMO. Always loved them.

Yep, Andrew is now ignoring all my emails and requests for a refund too. I suspected he would. Not pleased as my car still isn't fixed. Still fuel cutting like it did straight after his map 2 months ago. Not great. Onwards and upwards.

There is a long list of people like you now who have had the same treatment from him including me.. it's amazing after this that pole position will still let him work from there with after care like this

Had the car 2 weeks now and spent 2 hours washing and waxing it yesterday.. and then a bit of a drive with some not too heavy braking the wheels need cleaning again... may be going black after all there a nightmare to keep clean

Got half a day on the car today finally.

Car is now ready for mapping.. so see when I can get money together for it..

Got a underbody shot today

And just a couple in the garage

So just money together and get it booked in for mapping. Getting a mate to trailer it up so that's a extra £100 and fuel and mapping so save up a bit. But looks like I'm finally there

Cheers pal

Just saving now. Mapping day isn't cheap and have a holiday to pay for next year. Few little things I want to get done when I have it back home in the garage.. want to get it fully buffed and get some wax on. As well as get the Defi clocks wired in.

I'm Still worried about the positioning of your swirl pot,but I guess when you have it mapped up properly you can have another think and find another safer position for it....Apart from that it Looks Very Good mate.SJ.

Know what you mean. The only other place could be the boot. With the size of it. So would have to make a fire wall etc for it

So picked the car up from my mates last weekend..

Been driving it all week and it's been spot on.. Obviously not mapped yet so not been over 2500rpm.

First run back home was a laugh with the heat wrap having oil on from when the pipe burst 😂.. just had to burn it all off but wasn't half some smoke..

Just the new defi controller trolley to wire in this weekend and it's ready to roll for mapping..

Don't worry ZANY... if weather is good on Saturday giving the car a full wax and will get some fresh pictures on just for you.
