Rite guys,

The mapping was finished off on the car today. The car made 400/445 at 1.4 bar but wouldn't make anything else.. should run 1.7 all day long no problems so ahead jase went looking fir obvious things, boost leaks etc.. then I got hold of Simon from chevron, turns out my turbo is best suited to a 2.0 or 2.1 engine. Not a 2.35 he has told me that the exhaust housing in the turbo is to small so that's why on a 2.35 it won't make the power and on a 71 mm wheel when it would be better on a 73mm wheel. Car km told spools crazy! Looking forward to picking it up tomorrow. Not the power I wanted but hey.. its fixed and I can look later in the year of adding a bigger turbo.

At least you've got an extremely reliable 400bhp! And as you say, a lot more potential to be unlocked!

Picked the car up this morning and fell back in love with the car after 10 minutes of driving.. absolutely love it again. Not stupid fast but I don't care at this moment just happy to have it back. Met my best mate with his JDM blob soon as I got back

That other blob looks fantastic! Does the owner have a 'build' thread on here for it?

Congratulations mate. Glad it's finally back and working, what a journey! Looks the nuts too now. Love that bonnet! Needs a front splitter IMO to finish it off. Top job!

Now enjoy it!
