As said above I see unemployable people every day, lumps of metal in their faces, large unsightly tattoo's, stupid hairstyles etc. They all say they cannot find work...........No **** Sherlock!
Everyday I hear excuse after excuse why folks cannot find work, it really pisses me off, when I was growing up I could do anything except things that made it harder for me to find work even just getting one ear pierced caused ructions in my house, you now see people with their kids names down each side of their necks and winge no one will give them a job, you should of thought about that before getting inked!
If I lost my job today I could guarantee to anyone here I would be in work within 48 hours, granted it would be in a fast food outlet but i WOULD be working!
"I'm not doing that!" is where our problem lies, I would pick **** up off the floor if it meant my family was fed and warm but we allow ******* to think that certain types of work could be beneath them! WTF!
I'm sick of my hard earned going to families that have never worked bringing more kids into this world with no work ethic at all! makes me want to puke.

very true but this change in benefits is designed to stop the scum not working.
the views above are what 99% of the working population feel.
i bet each and everyone of us know someone unemployed by choice or with a made up disability to avoid working.
the "bad back" seems to be a favourite of the work shy.

I'm now 40 and I've had my "bad back" since being 21, I have at times been in crippling pain and unable to walk or even move, a few years ago I had a MRI scan and when I went to the specialist he said that after looking at the results he was all set to fuse my spine, but he was shocked at my range of movement considering then state of my lower spine so decided to hold off with it. Now over the years I've had a little time off, but never considered making being on disability my new occupation until I have no choice
But out of curiosity how much does it make ??

Some people need to pull there heads out of there asses!!!! Not all benefit claimers are lazy scum, sucking the system dry. My Mum is on benefit and disability due to spinal injuries, and she desperately wants to go back to work but is physically unable! These Government cuts are seriously effecting the genuinely ill and disabled! If I wasn't supplementing her money each month out of my own pocket she would not have enough to live on with the measly amount she is given especially now our PATHETIC government is cutting back to further cover there asses for screwing the country up and lining their own pockets.
So you people who stereo type every benefit claiming individual with the same brush, I hope one day you loose your jobs or face serious hardship and lets see how your tune changes then!!!!!!

I missed no point Mouser.....
I have a job, pay taxes, have three kids, 5 cars... we feed my kids friends on a regular basis as they dont get feed at home... normal middle class families.... broke!
It's idiotic topics like this that miss the point... And i pity those who do...
The same point is missed about immigration.... the majority (80%) of immigrants work, and pay taxes...
There are wasters on benefits, but there are many who have to claim because of hardship.... they all need support....
Remember it could be you next.

For the most part, living on the benefits to which one is entitled is neither easy nor pleasant. And it shouldn't be.
Living on benefits that one is not entitled to, life often becomes much easier and pleasant.
And there is the problem.
Perhaps those in genuine need could be given more if there weren't so many others abusing the system. One abuser often eats up the benefits of many genuine claimants. And the sympathy of the rest of us.

Anyone remember when I was going through a hard time 4-5 years ago?
I had a mortgage to pay and got the grand sum of £50 a week, plus a bit of temporary IIDB money for 12 months.
Now if I was in a council house (already with subsidised rent), I'd have got that paid as well as other bits too. If I had kids, or an addiction, or was dyslexic, or was dishonest, I'd have got more financial help as well as help with qualifications.
Nope, as I was sensible when young and didn't have kids, an addiction and bought a house, I got the dole. So a big thanks to Labour on that count for having such a stupid backwards system that simply rewards the lazy and dishonest!!
For the record (and those that don't know), I retrained and last year finished an apprenticeship with me now a time served mechanical fitter. With bugger all help on the way from the pisspoor excuse of a Labour government.

Another big fiddle out there is the blue badge scheme for the "disabled" . My work compound is near a public car park, and over time you see the same people parking there for nothing with there blue badges and then walk off just as well as any able bodied person.
I understand that to obtain the blue badge, you have to be unable to walk more than 30 yards without severe discomfort and a sit-down. So i would love to know how this guy regularly parks there free with a blue badge and then proceeds to get the golf clubs out the boot, puts the golf shoes on no problem and than walks over 100 yards to the bloody golf course and has a nice round of golf over the next 3 hours!
apparantly, the badge is in his name as well, so he must put on an oscar performance at assesment time ( if hes ever had one ).
I feel sorry for the genuine disabled who then struggle to find spaces because all these fiddlers are taking the spaces.
This is just one small car park in Somerset, so add it all up across the country and theres some big time savings to be made by sifting out all these frauds!

80% of the money spent on **** is returned to the Chancellor. Increase that to 99%, encourage everyone on welfare to smoke like a chimney, problem solved.....self-financing social security.

My daughter works as cabin crew and is frequently given a hard time by these scum going on holiday.
In my opinion as soon as they sign on for benefit they should have to surrender their passports.

i'm a sparky and 2 years ago i was made redundant, i had been earning £400-£600 a week for years. got all paperwork filled in and was told about all the benifits i could claim for (married, 2 young kids and own house)
i was getting over £300 a week on benifits
so no early starts or late finishes, no more working with idiots, and just £100 a week worse off!!!!
all the years i spent working in council houses, wondering how come they could afford 50" tv's, ****, beer and 2 holidays a year. with the benifit i got, it was a suprise. i managed to keep the scooby and pay for insurance and fuel.
i'm working again cos i hated signing on, but i had to buy a car for work and have the related costs for it, i'm not much better off working. so, if a sparky isn't much better off, why would anyone on NMW be better off?
people just on JSA will be skint, but take into account the CTC and WTC and it soon adds up.
it's the system that pays too much, if they just paid out for 6 months, then if you haven't got a job, it's tough ****. theres no incentive to get off their ***** to get a job
