Cheers bud, i was gutted at the time but it was probably for the best. It was tbh pretty horrible to drive on the road as it was so track focused. So no doubt had it lived, i probably wouldnt have lol.
Still, with the cash i got back, and a **** load more my current project is a massive extension on the house. At least it wont take as long to finish lol

anyway fudgey as you and me both have (or had in you case) aerocatches would you agree that you can only have them either open or closed as they are spring loaded and no fiddling and sliding is required to close on genuine properly fitted ones.
Yes i agree, but it can easily be overlooked if your messing about under the bonnet doing something and needing to drive it. Almost done it myself, but never actually got moving luckily. Pain in the *** with a 5-point harness tho
The way they work is they are either unlatched or latched. But when in the latched position you still need to click the lever part down for full security, as at speed if the lever is in the slightly lifted position air can still get under it and force it open IF you have the levers pointing forwards.

Yeah you can lock these with a kep, but that just stops you from pushing the bit down to open them, so that wont be getting used lol
i had the locking versions first and didnt like the look of the silver bit in the catch so changed to non locking versions.
if your retaining the original catch there is not much point in the locking partr as you still cant open the bonnet without pulling the release handle inside.
they are a pain in the *** to fit, luckily mattyb help fit mine (cheers fella i owe you one
anyway heres a pic from above, they dont suit everyones car but i like them.
