What do you mean? Does real bacon have hairs in it? That sounds quite chundersome, to be fair.

That Black Farmer bacon isn't thin. I have eaten it sometimes. I didn't like it because it was too thick. Takes ages to make it all nice and crispy, and you keep thinking about the pig while you are chewing on it. I like my bacon crispy, and therefore I prefer thin cut bacon.

Well, if he's worried about his bacon under the grill, so he might just do half the business. He can always go back there for another shot after he has eaten his bacon.

I did at one point go a bit mad and started too cook almost everything on it or tried to,but i found it a bit of a bugger to clean...

Only little problem i found was it was ok for one or two people, but any more was a problem due to lack of space on the plates

Well I'm still grilling my bacon (1), turning it though

Don't fancy it swimming in fat.

Tastes good too

I think the real issue here is - do you have brown sauce or ketchup with your bacon?

Sauce? No way, as nature intended... Well, between two pieces of buttered bread (ideally white)

Bacon in packs from the supermarket yuck!! I get mine from a proper butcher that makes his own, two types, smoked or un-smoked cut as thin or thick as you like, he makes fantastic sausages too.

No white frothy crap either and it doesn't shrink to nothing, the frothy stuff and shrinking is because it's been "pumped" with water to increase the weight, same with chicken breasts and some other meat from the so called "Super Markets"

Grilled both sides in the oven, gives a crispy fat and rind without drying the meat out.

HP brown sauce on un-smoked and nothing on the smoked.

About sauce, I don't think Duncan bothers with any sauce tbh. If he did, it would make his sarnie a bit more appetising. Then he'd greed for more than one rasher that he needs to save for the next time, really.

You see, we must note that he only has one rasher per breakfast; nothing more, nothing less.

My guess is that occasionally, during his bacon sarnie chomping, he inhales the smell of his decade old HP sauce, which is sufficient for him. Then he sticks the sauce bottle back in the fridge to keep it fresh for another 10 years.

Yeah, man.

Add more to your bacon on Bank Holiday, and enjoy.

This plate has been spoiled in two ways:

1. A pitiful amount of bacon.
2. The addition of non-pork products.

Sort it out!

Whut!

I specifically like the presence of those olive oil smeared, fresh rosemary sprinkled mildly grilled tomatoes on vine there. I also like that half boiled runny egg and two slices of a mushroom. Ok, I can add a few more salty bacon, but another sausage would be a crime on the body as well as on the soul.

I respect your opinion but you are wrong.

Nothing less than a plateful of pork products will be acceptable.

grilled both sides, usually not for very long when turned half way through or it goes too bloody hard.
