Just a quick update. After having a chat with scott we have agreed that connors day 2013 will be held on the 07 of september which is a saturday. Venue still not decided on yet but should hopefully be arranged in the next couple of weeks.

Just a quick thank you again to everyone who is attending this year and all those who attended last year too we are really on the ball this year and have big plans for a lot more activities for example there will be things like a children's fun fair properly organised raffle the trophies etc etc as always all money to charity and no limited numbers this year as planning on it being at an air strip please please please attend as it is sure to be a great day for all

Me and my family will be there again this year. Last year was a well put together show, especially in the amount of time it took... Is the airstrip the one just up the road from where it was held last year ? Would there be sections for different car clubs attending, like a Vauxhall section, ford section etc...

I really really hope this thread picks up soon, it would be such a shame if this was to flop 
Last year Connors day went viral with thousands of people wanting to make a little boys dreams come true. Connors day 2013 is not only about Connors memory but about raising money for all the children going through what Connor went through.

Hi everyone sorry for the lack of updates.
Me and scott were supposed to go and view the planned venue but unfortunatly due to work commitments havnt been able to arrange this yet. Hopefully we may manage to do this in a couple of weeks. The venue we have been talking to is up near york just to give people an idea of where this is likely to be happening.
Hope to update you all again very soon and hope this thread starts to pick up once venue is announced.

Post a possible venue up and if you can't get to view get a local member to go suss it out.
The venue needs to be sorted ASAP so people know where when and what time
I'm local'ish anywhere South Yorkshire area and working out Gainsborough /Lincoln way out at the mo , I certainly don't mind going and having a look/get some pics , routes in and out etc

Being York area it sounds Like Elvington is being considered. Having been there to see the Victor aircraft and others doing fast Taxi runs this would be an ideal location.
Donny andi, I take it you are from Doncaster. As I am Lincoln based could consider meeting up on route up the A1 depending on numbers or using the Layby on the A635 heading into Donnie from the A1 if only a few.
