Well done British Gas!

But the point is it doesn't have to be.... the problem is the average human being... when playing with someone else's money they don't give a **** unless it directly affects their wallet!
This is why privatised industries generally perform more efficiently than nationalised industries... as if they get it wrong the company goes bust. Like everything in life the great ideas are brought down by the fcukwits of society of which the UK has an extremely large number.

We agree, a rarity I'm happy with.
She knows, though, that I pull my weight (and often other's) and never expect others to prop me up in any way. I play the cards I've been dealt and take responsibility for how I play them. And so I have no problem criticising others who are just plain lazy, useless and often think the World owes them a living.
You do realise we're just shooting the breeze here don't you?

Well you're wrong. It's a daming indictment not of the public sector, but of human beings as many are just the same in the private sector ... the difference being they lose their job when it all goes **** up.

That aside, the latitude available to employees who wish to 'play the system' is massive in the Public Sector, absenteeism being the obvious example.

Anyhow, why is it the public are so frustrated by companies making money?
We had the same with Starbucks and others recently, none of them are charities are they?
We're on tanked gas here, I'd be very happy if I was a B.G. customer.

Most people are inherently lazy and only interested in looking after number 1 (they do not neatly divide betyween lazy public sector w4nkers and good honest hardworking private sector shining examples however much you like to compartmentalise)... and these days they have no qualms about treading on someone else to get what they want.... look at the number of dodgy scams on the net for an example of this.
It's why socialism can never work sadly as people are greedy selfish ******* in the main and many are blatantly dishonest to boot!!
