Phil it is ECUTEK not crappy "Eurotek" unless you are pi$$ taking again

The Blue light will stay on, but if you put a load of lights after the blue light they would be lit as well.

I have taken absolutely bucket loads of fuel off my car with good results but it is STILL 10 % CO !!! (and lights my green light which is like your blue light), except now it is lit a little less insistently I am going to stay at or above 9% CO for safety and cooling - my EGTs are still in the low 700s!

Oups!!! Not taking the pi$$

Although I would say that since you started doing track days, you have become a lot more aggressive

Moi, aggressive? Nah You should see how hard I brake for the corners - then go round them like a Granny. Not now the suspension and my brain has been tweaked though. Can't wait to get my hibridd urotek special on the track though

I cover my head in shame

I never said I wouldn't tune it more. I did say I didn't want a big laggy turbo or a gearbox cruncher. And I haven't got the former, hope not the latter

Don't know about his model year, but on mine if you disconnect the MAP sensor you get a check engine light. Unplugging the air feed is different. Not recommended though as you have no fuel cut and no closed loop boost control.

I think its the signal from the MAP sensor (after reading several sites). It seems my FCD is working properly because my check engine light hasn't come on.

Its the yellow with thin black stripe, not the thick black one(I don't know what that is yet). Until someone gives me the pinouts for an MY93-95 ECU, I wouldn't be able to tell you (*hint John Banks hint*).

Oh, Jonny, can you e-mail me some pics of your intercooler water spray, especially where the wires and pressure switch is at. Finally got one sourced out from a scrappy with an STI.

Quick question re old topic of dawes and ecutek anyone...

Would the up of boost using a dawes allow the ecu to read the higher boost (via MAP sensor) and then adjust fuel to suit? Prob never that simple...just wonder re oe ecu's using MAF's as the maf signal is bound to change with increased flow...
