I see its all those that hate the show that are on every week saying how crap it is,
stick to your Dancing on Ice if thats what you need but why keep watching a entertainment show you obviously dont like,
oh yeah because you love being a keyboard warrior.

I don't understand why people continue to watch "crap" or "tedium" on their TVs and then whinge about it - switch it off and do something else.
To those who complain that they don't review the right sort of cars, or the ideas are rubbish, etc, etc you need to forget what Top Gear was and treat it purely as an entertainment program based around motoring and cars with some nutters enjoying themselves. I’m surprised you are not complaining that you keep buying the Top Gear magazine every month but that it isn’t like What Car!
As it happens, I felt they should have stopped this format a couple of series ago because it was getting a bit "samey". However, that said, it's a program I try very hard not to miss and enjoy most, if not all, of it each week it is on
I've often been concerned about eel and sodium salesmen and the risks they have been taking on the roads and now I'm pleased to see they have a safer alternative.

It is still fun, in a predictable way. I still enjoy it but am happy to chat to the wife at the same time.
There was a time when absolute silence was required.

I used to love Top Gear, Until it became depressingly clear that all of it's original thinking had come to the end of the road.
How many more wacky race challenges do our petrol head heroes intend to inflict on us before they realize they are careering into a repetitive cul-de-sac?
19 series for gods sake

You have to remember that it isn't a blokes and car geeks only programme. They have to do segments that keep the wife happy, the kids entertained, the car bores satisfied.
Not every element will be to your taste, but I think they found a good balance.
-Focus ST v VXR v Megane was perhaps a bit lacking in detail but was relevant as it's guys like us who buy these cars
-Car rugby will keeps the kids and wife happy
-The Kia review was pretty good a relevant to most families out there, plus got across a very good point that now days Kia are a very real and viable alternative to Ford
-Car bores got to see an F1 driver set a blistering time
-Ok no hyper car this week, but in the last few episodes alone we have had a Pagani, LFA, Viper, Vanquish etc .... much better than the old days of car journalism when you would tune in to an entire series for a single, solitary review of a Ferrari.

I think people here seem to miss how the show is targeted audience wise.
If it was an hour long episode about the history of the Impreza a lot here would be acclaiming it as the best episode ever whereas in reality it would have the worst viewing figures ever.
Think of it as a light entertainment show that is car centric rather than a car review show that has a bit of light entertainment and you get the true picture and see where the show is aimed!
If that isn't for you then don't watch it!

i cant believe ppl still mention old top gear, how long ago was that.
of course its not as original as it once was and some of the staged bits are quite cringeworthy but i would rather it be on than not and i dont think it will be on for much longer tbh.
