Saw a Youtube vid of someone putting red tint around rear lights of a hatch. On your white Impreza it would look rather smart in my opinion.

Being a hatch owner like myself, have you thought about fitting a waist spoiler?
I keep debating with myself whether to bother or not.

The beauty of white is that you could have the spoiler sprayed black or carbon wrapped & it wouldn't look out of place as a contrast.

With my red RX I would have to get it sprayed the same colour as the car as any other colour would look out of place.

I've seen the one on E-bay, but I'm inclined to get one from my local Subaru dealer when I've some spare cash.

Subaru.co.uk lists price as £195.00 inc. VAT, but I would see what a dealer could do you one for.

Quite a big difference like ain't it . This is the problem with subaru there parts are so damn expensive . I know subaru is quality and all but when a wishbone cost 315 a stearing rack is 1500 and I small boot spoiler is 200 that's just excessive lol.

Found youtube vid of rear red overlays on white Impreza.

Also seen a comple red overlay of the lights, but the surround looks better.

They make it look so easy. I tinted the windows on my AX GT years ago using a film & not as easy at it says on the instructions.

Rang 2 dealers today & both quoted £162.50 plus VAT for spoiler.

However, had an e-mail from one of the dealers with a 20% off voucher for all STI accessories. Could forward the e-mail on if you want to PM your e-mail address.

With regard to light suround, I'll see if I can find any contact details for the company.

rear lights red surround - www.bluebatoverlays.com - need to e-mail request - bluebatmobile@san.rr.com

Got info from links on vid posted.

Thanks for your comment.

It's nice to know that there are people who appreciate us lesser mortals who don't have a WRX.

Had a 1.5 hatch the other month whilst my 2.0RX was in for a service.
Noticed the difference in power, but it still had the Subaru grip.
As an everyday car, I would say not too bad, but once used to the drivability, & finances, then look into moving on up. Hopefully, I would like to upgrade to a WRX.

Nice car but please put the plate back in the middle. Either that or get the plate mount removed and smoothed off. It's a bit like removing a headlight, leaving a big gaping hole and duct taping a torch on the bonnet.
