Fantastic videos and driving, really smooth and fast.

The Mini seemed to be going well but I guess it must have a lot done to it.

A few questions:
- What oil temperatures were you seeing before and after fitting the oil cooler?
- What tyres were you using on the last 2 videos?

Why sell the car and start all over again, it goes very well and seems to eat most thing on track!
Racing Mini , fully kited and on slicks too...
The cooler is not yet on Fivos , it's cold enough ATM , i haven't see anything more than 110 after 15mins session that day..
I was on Literally bald R888s and yes the car is did quite well but i'm itching a RWD for some reason ..

Just had a read through the thread Mantas, you've really made some good modifications and improved the suspension and handling no end.

There's no point running stupid BHP if the car won't handle, plus it's nice to see some parts from my Blobeye Spec C living on in your car.

Christmas gone , 2013 gone, 84hr a week shifts gone too , had some time to do my readings , specially regards OS and mapping in general. My boost tables were corrupted and needed to be re done , that means a whole new map.
Extra costs again , but unfortunately i had no options . Speaking to Simon regards all this and my situation the man offered me an option of going EcuTek instead of OS , i've been explained regards OS and the situations like i had the back up of EcuTek is much bigger and way easier to sort things out , and normally there are no bugs as on OS , the offer i couldn't resist so here i am , EcuTeked and all that , lol...

1st mapping session was no luck as we found out , that 1 of the coil packs failed ... Wasn't easy to recognize it as it gives you no fault code normally , i did suggested steps by both Simon and Richard and eventually caught a code related to Coil packs ... Rushed to FB , Rich swapped a set of other coil packs did the log , all good again. We were glad it's just that as these ones can give you trouble and difficult to detect where the fault is coming from.

2nd mapping session was faultless , well almost , had trouble with boost, was difficult to control it for some reason. Rich mentioned it might be down to a waste gate as i had some trouble with it when i bought a turbo .Speaking to John Breaveheart he instructed me with the correct adjustment settings , so hopefully that will sort me out and will cure the boost curve next time i see Simon for a tweak..

Modifications done by Mr. RomPerfomance were really awkward when i saw him doing them and how he did them , didn't look safe at all and messy engine bay full of octopus lookalikes didnt gave me trust either... But who am i to judge , i gave my trust to a so called "tuner" but came with embarrassment in the end. So this is the fuel rail kit .... Judge yourself.... Ripped the standart kit which i've been told in the end that is good enough for my aiming power , used inappropriate hoses which wont last in the engine bay...
It's just asking for trouble ...

Detuning time!!! lol , thanks to Mattybr5@MB Developments for parts as usual , never let me down , great guy , got a set of standart rails and will se Rich in near future to fit them as the Oil cooler and baffled sump plate.

Car needs servicing sorting out little leak on Defi sandwich plate , which is going to be removed anyway when fitting the oil cooler , and the O/S front bearing is already screaming for help... All parts here waiting to be fitted , just to find some time now...

Some facts... So called friendly track day map

I have to admit after Francis explaining the DIY parallel fuel rail mod and the more I looked at it I decided to buy some proper rails as I just couldn't see it looking half decent - classis fuel rails are slightly different so I could see a way of doing it with them. I'm sticking with that option as I want to remove the purge solenoid and carbon cannister

Good graph now though

So you happy with the results Mantas or were you expecting more?

Isn't that pretty good considering you still have original TMIC?

I think that's a pretty good result TBH Andy , i wasn't expecting that much , lol ... 390-400 at best. It turned out the TMIC and standart headers are not the restriction either . I guess it's down to a mapper and their method , capabilities of mapping ....
