It won't have the ecutek option then and would require the ESL board, so I can't see it being mapped no, unless somebody had undergone a wiring upgrade to take the ecu which tbh I can't see them doing, but I could be wrong

i was obviously told the wrong information then,im not very mechanically minded as you can work out for yourselfs by the posts, thing thats scaring me is if 0.5 - 1 bar is standard then why have mine been booting at 1.5 for the few months since iv owned it with no trouble.also got the front mount, decat straight thro exhaust and upgraded filter, theres alot of upgrades for a standard ecu shouldnt it of gone bang by now or broken down of some sort?

Should it not be mapped, then with the above additions, I would say you are simply just getting away with it. Im quite technically minded, but Im not up on the classic ecu or mapping, but I would say your car would be overboosting, and running lean with the above additions.
A poor quality FMIC may be offering no real benifits, as such the IAT may not be that far away from what the MAF thinks anyway.
Overboosting can happen without cauing serious issues, so that combined with a poor FMIC may actually be why the car is running ok.
The Air filter wouldnt make that much difference, and in terms of "theres alot of upgrades for a standard ecu", I wouldnt say thats a lot, but then it doesnt take much to throw out the fueiling mix.
When something mechanical gives way, in particular within the engine, it doesnt always present its self with a bang, or breaking down. Ringland failure, or damaged valves could go unknown for sometime, and would take a keen ear to know, or obviously software/engine builder.

I think the car is cursed.
WILL UPDATE WHEN IV BEEN TO INDIGO GT.
THANKS ALL FOR THE REPLYS AND COMMENTS.
