this is true, probably still below the 30 mph limit
and by the time a focus rs would stop spinning its front wheels you would be at the speed ramp on the way out of mcdonalds car park and have to slow down anyway.

Wow I didn't realize a Subaru forum would be filled to the brim with the next Colin McRae'

Some of you really need to get over yourselves...

Slightly off topic for this thread, but this phrase 'spirited driving' gets mentioned frequently and is somewhat subjective.
Out of curiosity, would you regard taking a left-hand bend and accelerating through it to say 70mph on exit (60 limit B-road, but that's neither here nor there) which results in you drifting the car onto the right-hand side of the road at exit intentionally, as spirited driving?

I'm not still on that Winter tyres thread am I?

14 degrees here today, I expect they're all back on 'normal' tyres by now.

Got to be a classic wind up now
Jimmyinrugby /Robsy and even PSLEWIS thrown into the mix

A Subaru that can't loose a fiesta around the twisties
A man that want to spend 10/20 grand on an old classic instead of getting a newer modle and keeping it reasonably standard
Financail skills of the worst banker
Technical knowledge comes out as well
A newby posting
Newbys defending (sorry alternative points if view )

We just need
Dump valves
Dodgy stickers
Stick on tat
Teenager girlfriend who dreams of a council house and benefits
Non payer of a tv licence
Fuel surge
Rampant horses
Moles
Baseball hats
Spelling and grammar Dept
Fi Fan to continue the wind ups
A bit of racism
And we have got the makings of another Subaru classic that will be a ten pager
Maybe more

i fear its not a wind up he is a bonafide 100% bellend.

im going to save money on paying finance on a car i cant afford by buying an old car and spending 20k plus on it for it to be worth 10k max

genius...............

not to mention the flaw in his plan, he obviously hasnt got the money to do it as he couldnt afford his focus, so hows he paying, credit card?, loan? or i as i suspect hes just a dreamer.

The only classics that will ever be worth 10k in the future is a 22b and perhaps a p1 that's been stored once new l
All the rest will be worth 2-4k despite what's bee spent on them

I suppose 20k spent on a old soon to rust away scooby could be spent on booze and hookers and you could squander the rest away

Me I would just spend it on track day tuition and get some new mates

the brakes are the worst though lol mate in the fiesta was on the brakes sooo much later than me... sure the roof flap acting as an air brake slows the car down more than the standard brakes lol
I'm near MK too. If you want to compare your STI to my stock T2000 feel free to give me a buz.
