The first and original prototype was built by someone on behalf of Cosworth - I won't break a promise of confidentiality by saying anymore - but was stripped to a shell. It was snapped up by someone at Cosworth who rebuilt it to a specification similar to the original prototype model with his own twist, it was featured recently in JPC.
Interesting to see what mark up on that they put on It.....prob go on sale for 31-32k

All auction houses seem to do well whatever they sell. A cool figure of around £4330 nett, just for one lot.
I hope the new owners are enjoying their cars. Good to see that they’re holding their value well and that they’re still commanding the recognition they deserve.

Sold via Trade Classics for £25k All inc. Which would have meant the seller got £23,321(+ 6% plus VAT Buyers Fee)=£25,000.Unless alternate arrangements made.
Good buy for new buyer imo as seller paid £28,500 October 2018

I think the issue with this car is that does the prototype car hold the same value as a production car.
As I see its for sale for 24K I would say that it doesn't, as these cars sell all day long for 30K.

There are a couple that have been for sale for a while for around £30k but like anything they are only worth that amount if there is a buyer willing to pay £30k.
I paid £23k for my 61 plate 32,000 miler a year ago. So hopefully they are worth £30k+ But i have no intention and don't need too ATM thankfully, of selling and the 330s would go first if necessary.
Not sure of value prototype against production but £24k seems a decent price to me.
One thing caught my eye...the "on the road" video. The mpg value on the dash is like 'current mpg at that moment' as its jumping all over the place including 99.9mpg when off throttle?

That’s because the mileometer isn’t on trip. It’s on total miles and then it reads instantaneous mpg.
solved the confusion.. if you have the 330s Kenwood sat nav headunit then its displayed within its info settings - well i can only assume thats the reason for not having it on the dash display!
Any owners happen to have any bilstein rear shock units they are no longer using? Managed to burst a rear on mine so just researching other options while waiting to hear back if bilstein will service the rear unit. Thou have been told by Luke @ icp they are no longer doing so
