Sorry for kicking the hornets nest Ryan , i was just surprised they let you get away with it for so long. Dont let it get to you , but from what i see on here txt speak wont get you any help or info . I use it a bit , replacing "you" with "u"

Yes we need to get the basic written word correct
We then pass It over to the spelling police who investigates for any text and
Incomplete words
The full stop and capitals come later on

Eventually when everyone is happy with the questions the technical people

pity there is not a proper thread fixed and locked produced by some of the more technical expert members, that people can be referred to each time this is posted. just a thought and I know it has been suggested previously.

 

oh and yes it was interesting to have confirmed that those that de-cry dump valves per se
and state that only a re-circ valve will do actually have a dump valve on their car
re-circ and vta are dumpvalves that both vent air, one just does it back into the system and one releases it back to atmosphere.

and yes I know everyone on here knew this, but possably not all by some of the comments on previous dump valve threads

 

ryan , you can probably guess that the d.v debate hits a nerve but imo comments are made by more experienced people out of frustration of repeating themselves.there are loads of previous threads on this subject and i think if they were read it might explain peoples reaction to your post. not getting at you or anything , just trying to help

 

and yes i have one on mine. as oldman-wrx pointed out most of us do have them . its just the effect that one type has on the ej20 over another type . ie vta vs recirc and the fact that some people experience engine anomalies that may be caused by fitting one type and not the other. just my 2p worth. i run a recirc but really needs remap
