Depends how you drive, your mechanical sympathy and what sort of life that 140k has been. If you rarely drive above 5k rpm, having more boost above there would seem a little pointless and will put extra stress on the engine. That doesn't mean it'll fail the minute you up the boost, but get the tuning wrong and experience some bad detonation and the chances will increase significantly.

All in all, I don't believe it's possible to predict what could happen, but there have been engine failures with less boost and fewer miles on the clock, and some with more of both doing ok.

Are you a risk taker or do you like to play safe??

PS did you ever check the fuelling with a wideband?

I've decided I'm gonna tweak it another couple of psi to redline and stick with that for time being , there's risky and being daft for the sake of little gain
The car ain't no spring chicken and I don't redline it often
As for checked with w/b no , I'm still using my rescaled repositioned 02
It was checked on last rr when I had done my fmic and manifold ( not remapped for ) and i had a couple of issues it was 12.1 at its leanest , border line for lots of folk , but same as the operator said , you can run it at that but I wouldn't on a road car , but it's up too you
I've obviously changed it many times since , and should be low 11,s ( hopefully lol)
Only another week and we will find out for sure
