To all other car owners, us Scooby owners are chavs.

Just as we would probably stereotype all Saxo drivers as chavs.

I say who cares! As long as we are happy, that's all that matters!

Sadly I'll be giving it a miss as any knuckle dragging moron from a sink estate can afford to own one. The image of the car has been dragged down by these types to the extent you seriously have to ask yourself if you want to be associated with them. Years ago when the cheapest Imprezas were more than £15k there was no such Image problem.
I'm really not that bothered about others opinions (I drive an estate and a little yellow girls car ffs ), but the type of owner has changed a huge amount over the last ten years or so...cost being the main factor; my car was over £22k and had a four month waiting list when it was new in Oct 2000 . As the cars become cheaper they become more accessible to a wider range of people and with that comes different tastes.

Stickers, VTA dump valves, flamer kits and excessively loud exhausts all make me chuckle...but that's true of whichever marque that kind of modification is slapped on. In my opinion those kind of cars make me look even cooler than I think I do already so crack on kids

Another year another dump valve thread....
I currently have one due fitting a fmic.
I will be going back to recirc when i have sorted the pipework though.
The car was mapped with it on and it causes no running issues and holds boost fine.

I dont like them but they are not as bad as stickers and fake roof vents.

Recirc is by far the best choice.
