nice one
Just spoke to her, she laughed as she said 'no one ever asks me about my car'.

Anyway she bought it because she liked the way it drove (nippy and fun), the way it looks, the price and because her partner who is very tall (6' 4") can actually sit in it comfortably and drive it unlike several other small cars they looked at.

She has had it 5.5 years, done 52K and had virtually no problems with it. Servicing is every 9000 miles and £120 - £200 if you go to a main dealer and depending on which service schedule it is.

The only fault her car has had was the ABS warnig light came on, but it was a faulty sensor. That's it! She did say that if she had a criticism it would be that the interior feels a bit cheap, but, as she said, it is

Cheap to insure and good economy too - hers averages about 43mpg with a lot of town driving - like all manufactirers Suzuki quote more, but in the real world She also said that as main dealers go the Suzuki guys seem better than most, they are actually interested in your custom! She uses Leeds and Sheffield dealers for servicing.

Her partner said to add that it is nippy good handling little car, but is a warm hatch not a hot hatch so don't expect it to blow you away perforamnce wise, but it is fun to drive.

Hope that helps. It's one of those cars that fals under the radar - would never have thought about it had you not mentioned it.

cheers mate, there seems to be only one common fault and that is with the input shaft on the gearbox, doesnt affect all but it is a box out and rebuild job,ask her if hers whines in 1st gear

i really like them to be honest and we are not bothered about performance one little bit (thats what the scoob is for)

cheers buddy

1.4 D-4D Yaris would be my recommendation. Ours has been faultless in over 80k miles so far *touches wood* as was our previous Yaris.
