The rules of the Club state that Gays cannot Marry in its buildings.
That's the end of that then.
If God said that man shall not lie with man then he cannot sanction it within his churches, end of.
Why don't they get married in their own church? A Gay Church set up for Gays exclusively.

If the Church wanted to sacrifice Children, I guess we'd have to stand back and accept that it's their club with their rules?

Sacrificing children is illegal ...... not marrying Gays is Legal - small, but VERY important hole in your argument.
If you are a gay Christian then you must remain celibate - like, for example, Cliff Richard (allegedly) .... or, you are going against the teachings of your faith.

Jesus is not recorded as having said anything related to intimate sexual relationships between people of the same gender.

Personal opinion is, everyone should be entitled to be as unhappy as my parents are!
Not sure why the approval of God is needed.... not sure why the church (who has pummelled millions of young boys bottoms) would disaprove.

God created Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. This signifies that God ordained order of male and female, not male and male or female and female. This is important because it was before the Mosaic Law was given.

Also we are talking about a man who never married and spent most of his time with 12 other men, some of which he proclaimed to love!!!!

Struggling a bit with this one. Man + Woman = Baby. I know we have test tubes and all that but goodness me where will it all end. I remember reading recently some bloke had married a Lama. Natural selection can only go so far.
I would be surprised if SN had even one regular poster who was gay being as the overall attitude to them on this site is like going back to the school playground 50 years ago. A lot of growing up needed around here not to mention an injection of intelligence into some posters!
