Protective earplugs for DJ'ing etc.

So you're saying I don't really need the in ear moulded plugs? My reason for going with them over generic is
A) the sound quality over the cheaper plugs
B) the comfortableness over the generic ones
As a pro yourself don't you think I need the Pro 17's or ER 15's then?

Quite a few of the lads i shoot with have had the injection moulded ones and couldn't get along with them, rubbing and causing soreness/general irritation others report that they have gaps and the sound can get through after a few months, all of them have gone back to the sonic 2.
The ones i'm talking about ARE good and will work perfectly for your application, and for the sake of £25 you will be pleasantly supprised.
I have small ears as well and find these a nice fit, they as any of the above products, take a bit of getting used to, but because the go in the ear and not on the ear so to speak,** they don't move when you talk or chew**
And they are sound filters, which i believe is basicly what your after.
But hey, your loot and your lugs.

Have to admit, for £25, it's gotta be worth a shout
FWIW, my IEMs took a while to bed in, causing irritation and rubbing to start off with. Now they're fine though.
But they do take a while to bed in.

You appear to have ignored my post, but you could save your self a wad of cash.

My question is around something for £25 when the filters for the IEM are more than that alone. Would the noise cancellation on the cheaper non moulded ones be as good? If so I may invest

lol, love you too, they are as i said pretty good, iv'e had 3 pairs over the last 20yrs, i've been using them more recently for working on the garage doors i made, grinding my dodgy welds down, and i'm still amazed at how well they work, like i said they are good quality.
I recon the ones your thinking of buying maybe over priced due to application, because everyone knows you music industry lot are all loaded.
After years of going to raves, riding motorbikes, and shooting, i too was getting the ringing/tones for a few hours after, and don't fancy tinatus being as it's one of the top ten reasons people commit suicide.
Just make sure you get the ones from the US not the cheap chinese copies, they may also cost more than £25 these days, as it's a while since i bought a pair.
If there a reputable Gun shop in your neck of the woods, i'd try them, sounds like you need the small as well.
