I'm not saying never, but I'm saying possibly depends on the price.

If I could find a reasonably priced set then I would fit a set of AP 4 pot rear calipers along with discs etc, but given that the rear brakes don't really do that much work I am going to leave the Brembo calipers fitted.

im torn between refurbing my rear brembos in black or buying a matching kit for the rear.
like you say its money for nothing really as the brembos are up for the job.
the cost of being a car tart...............

As for being a car tart, perhaps, but there are bigger tarts out there.
Tubbytommy that was an interesting thread in the General Technical section as well.

I really don't think it's worth changing from the Brembo rear brakes, there are plenty of big power cars still using the standard STi Brembo setup.

Compared to you Ryan I'm but an amateur, I've got nothing on you.

Theoretically speaking of course that would cost a nice lump of money to sort out, never mind you live and learn as they say (if of course this problem was real).
It's a pity that 20/20 vision only comes with hindsight.

Well I picked up another couple of goodies today from Indigo GT, they have an offer on that if you buy a Whiteline roll centre correction kit - for cars with lowered suspension it raises/corrects the centre of gravity to improve handling plus eliminates/reduces bump steer, you get a set of uprated front anti roll bar drop links for free.
It came along at a very good time for me as I was actually about to buy both so it saved me some £'s as well.
It is supposed to be a very worthwhile mod if you are running a lowered car.

Very nice Gaz, I saw Dave's at the weekend when I dropped some PFF7's off with Ryan for a refurb as some point after my car is back on the road.
And still no delivery date available on the correct windscreen.

I can see that screen being the thorn in your side bud, it will more than likely be all back together by the time that turns up not good when you want to get it down to enginetuner for the finishing touches
Cheers for the heads up on that kit as well, I'm gonna see if I'm able to purchase them without getting told off by the mrs she don't mind really I'm sure , but when I'm trying to sort money for tyres from Simon and then these other bits come up at great prices its hard work I've told her that I can offset the cost of the centre correction mod by selling the front droplinks tho so fingers crossed it all falls in to place all whilst trying to sort the house and a holiday, something is gonna have to give somewhere

Also, make sure you spend time with the family or R&R, 8 weeks is hell of a long time without a break!
