That's the thing about stopping smoking, not only do you get the misery of stopping smoking ,you also get the misery of going on a diet as well. Happens to most of us after coming off the smokes.
Two year just gone since I stopped, lost all my flab now as well, back to twelve and a half stone through dieting and running three times a week.

I'm going to give up next time I'm back in the UK, been slowly cutting down for 3 months now by smoking no additive tobacco Pueblo, the rollies has helped quite a bit in reducing over all consumption as they are smaller and I only smoke one about half way down the length of a single skinner with a filter. I'm down to about a 30g pack a week and one pack of papers so quite pleased with myself.
I'll be back in UK for crimbo so going to use the flight and being around my son as the impetus as I don't usually smoke when I'm there.
I am VERY determined to stop for ever.

23 years I've been off them now. When I stopped they were £1.99 a packet and I vowed I'd never pay £2 a packet.
I'd a patch on for the first 3 days after that just used willpower. Never had even the faintest urge to start again.
My brother's wife is on around 50 a day, do the maths and that works out at a couple of decent holidays every year.

about 15 months off them for me. Got a kick smoking app for the phone which told you "stuff" during the process of kicking them, also has a calculator which says I've saved approx 3K from not smoking.
That 3K has been paying the fuel bills for my C63.
Wish I'd stopped a lot sooner though.
50 is nuts though, but wait for it, a friend of mine goes through 60-80 a day(he's a builder)

I never see my brother's wife without a cigarette in her hand, she never buys single packets of 20 it's always boxes of 200.
She doesn't work and just sits in the kitchen smoking all day. She uses a soup bowl as an ashtray because it holds more butts.
Surprisingly she doesn't sound like Sean Dyche but the skin round her mouth is puckered up like an elephant's sphincter with all that constant sucking.

yep, it really bl00dy did! And my partner said she would kick my asse if I didn't stop doing stuff that could get me killed (although driving Dallas highways each day is more risky!)
omg, that's so true, haha. Over $90k worth of treatment, luckily I don't have to pay all that as I am insured. I can see why there are so many effed up people here, they just can't afford it. Cigarettes are cheap as chips though here, 7/8 dollars for 20.
Just glad to have given up, feel amazing for it!
