I imagine you might also find the 458 and maclaren very arcade like with their flappy paddles and techno wizardry diffs......or maybe the badge dilutes you from having such thoughts......

Been watching old top gear episodes have you and thought you might like to rehash clarksons first thoughts......coincidently they have changed as he seems to sing all GTR praises as the rest of the editorial world seem to have agreed the GTR is the performance car yardstick of the modern ages.....

TBH, I respect just how good the GTR is. And I'm hardly a badge snob, as my last car was a Nissan 370Z !
The GTR just doesn't do it for me. I personally think its too big, I'm not keen on how it looks. I really dislike the look of the dashboard, and yes, it's an Auto. Which is why if finances allowed, I'd have a manual Gallardo over a 458 or 12C. Purely because as it would only be a weekend toy, I'd like to change gear myself. I just prefer my cars that way.
If I just wanted the fastest thing from A to B, then I'd have bought a GTR.
The R8 for me just looks more special (inside and out), sounds better (V8) and has, for me at least, has the better 'feel good' factor owning it, that I just don't think I'd ever get if I bought a GTR.
Each to their own. You like yours, I like mine.

For someone with such a fantastic life, you are spending a hell of a lot of it in one of the quieter bits of a Subaru related website, and, it has to be said, not really making a very good impression, you could have responded to the trolling better by rising above it and not joining in.
