Cheers Don, looked a little like the Magnaflow I've been looking at, anyone on here have the Magna? Also on the hatch a catback meant a remap or risk of engine going pop, is it the same on the saloon or can you add on an exhaust and just run with it?

Not after anymore power just a little burble and something you can actually see from the rear.

Cheers

I had already fitted an H&S cat back before it went up to Subaru HO for the remap, however I'm not sure I got the 320R map

A few including, Budgie, have changed their exhausts without further mapping without a problem.

Actually its a custom made, just the 2 back boxes mated to the original system.
That way we can just swap them back if we need to.
The look is spot on imo and the sound is very deep with plenty of burble.
Sorry for the late reply

Cool, Don, Steve which rollers do you fancy? Tony and I are based Worcester way. I'm guessing Steve is somewhere near Surrey so open to ideas of rollers. Our way there is Tdr, Roger Clarke or power station. The only other I know about which is kind of inbetween are power engineering's but haven't been there since I had my P1.

Cheers Budgie, looks great any more pics of it before it went on, build quality etc? Do you mind me asking what sort of price I'd be looking at and who did it for you as other than the Magna they are all near the 1k mark, pm me if you want.

Thanks
A

It's been on Surrey RR, and I used to use Powerstation for the Forester, so not fussed.

Hasn't Tony recently had his on Powers rollers ??

Yeah Tdr is thwaites, I'm sure mark would do us a deal. I just wasn't sure is very fair you and Don driving 1:45 to get there. Tony and I are happy to come to Surrey rollers its up to you and Don or we open it up fully and look for 10-12 cars and then find a central location to all, prob somewhere around the midlands.

What about RCM, would be "central" /roughly equal distance for all.
Certainly don't mind driving up there.

As it's also a Dyno Dynamics RR will be good for comparison

all three according to google maps are going to be that sort of time Kev so its no big deal tdr, power station or rcm would work. I would be up for any of them it would be nice to check out power station as it be handy to speak to them about the suspension packs they offer but then again RCM is well RCM and would be great to see the set up and again talk suspension.

there must be 10-12 2008 on cars that we could get together, I'm sure there are a handful of new owners who have just picked them up who would like to make sure the map was ok

In that case my choice now would be Powerstation (unless they are cut off with the floods).

Would be good to see Rich, Dirk and Andy C again. I said I'd take the car in when I got it bit late but hey ho.

Assuming Curtis is there at the time, Stevie can talk (AST) suspension

Don, any pics of your H&S fitted and do you have to have the centre pipe or can the back boxes be fitted to the standard pipe, centre pipe sure puts the price up a fair bit, so ideally back boxes only and some burble!

If I had to buy the centre pipe also I'd be more included to go 340 pack route for warranty reasons and a bit more poke, however reading this thread I'm put off by that a bit too!

From some research the Magnaflow is one of the loudest out there so not what I'm after.

Decisions decisions!

Most of the info is in the first post of my old thead...........

https://www.scoobynet.com/members-ga...ti-saloon.html

Centre pipe smooths out the "Y" section and removes the resonator but back boxes can and where originally fitted on their own.

Cheers Don, was there much difference in noise between having the h&s back boxes on their own and with the addition of the h&s centre pipe, outside the car, cruising, WOT or droning in the car?
