Hmm, i don't think they're virtually identical, apart from playing the Asperger's Syndrome card which i absolutely do not support. But this summary seemed pertinent;
I'm on the fence here now. If it can be conclusively proved he went further than necessary to find classified information on UFOs then i think the decision not to deport him is indefensible. But i won't entertain that the Daily Mail had any part in it apart from keeping the story current.
Babar Ahmad is accused of willingly promoting Islamist terrorism, and has failed to invoke UK protection to avoid extradition to the US, from the territory of which, he indisputably conducted activities that would have contributed to an existential threat towards his home, the UK, and the US, etc. Home-grown and/or foreign Islamist provocateurs, should take note. Gary McKinnon is accused of indisputably conducting himself as a nuisance. A minor misdemeanour, inapplicable to extradition.
