InsuranceSubaru Impreza insurance can be expensive, as with any performance car insurance. But the cheapest car insurance isn't always the best. Share your quotes, and experiences.
im 21 , 3 years NCB, first years insurance on my bug wrx is £800, pretty cheap right?
Are you a named driver on the policy, because that doesn't sound right to me lol?! Quotes I was getting at that age were about £2k, and that was with an extra years NCB conpared to you and also living in a lowest risk insurance area.

no mate its my own policy, my parents are additional named drivers, kept on a military camp, 10k miles a year, £450 excess. 2003 Bug WRX
At 21, standard blob wrx I managed to get it for 2000 with business use. I now don't use it for work, with all mods declared at 22 (suspension, brakes, engine chip, rear spoiler, front airdam, bigger scoop, exterior decs, window tints, rear diffuser, non standard exhaust and manifold) for £1075
I pay £1000 on my uk300 mods declared, 4ncd,23, with adrian flux, but i had a 93 import sti with them at 19 that was 1400 to insure back then with no ncb
I'm 18 and paying ... Wait for it....£375 a month , yes a month!! That's threw my dad with full NBC , eat sleep & subaru lol !
Thats just rediculous. I persony would never pay that at 18 even as much as i would have liked a scooby at 18. What type is it? At that price it must be an STI atleast.
Dads the main driver on the policy also legal owner I'm just a named driver , it's a 1997 impreza turbo (classic) with a few mods declared including the suspension arb strutt and h brace the exhaust and the brakes, but low risk postcode full no claims for him and I'm working full time in low risk job (leisure centre attendant) any info guys mail me and it should be responded to sooner. Thanks ,imprezive jnr.
Wow... Just get a saxo or fiesta or something for 2-3 years or so. You will save yourself about 3-4 grand on insurance then buy yourself a wrx or sti when u have a couple years no claims?
As at the moment your getting no ncb yourself so your doing yourself no favours at all. When do you plan on getting your own car and policy?
Probably my best bet but I love the subaru , nothing's ever mad me smile more than her , dad left her to rot I spent a lot of cash putting her on the road and now spend a lot so I can drive her , probably take out my own policy at 21 when insurance will be under £46k ( my original quote from aidrienflux) lol, hey call me crazy?!
