Just got back after having my jdm 6speed box fitted want to thank the guys down at scoobyspares always sort me out

Alyn the bushes are what frayz described WOW gear selection is awsome and very responsive.

Didt drive the car hard but its so much of a different drive from the 5speed, the car feels stronger through the gears. Will have it map tweaked hopefully in the next week or so by Andy Carr and hopefully get the best out of the box.

One thing I've noticed and I don't know if this is common is that in 1st gear the cars idle is very up and down as though almost stalling not sure if it just needs mapping o suit or if it will bed in

Anyone else had this problem?

Wouldn't have thought the battery coming off would cause a problem. Maybe the lambda sensor hasn't been reconnected

could be a lot of things id take it back and get them to take a look.
as john says it could be lambda or a vacuum leak etc.

It'll be something that was disturbed or not quite put back right when doing the conversion. Only the neutral position sensor on the gearbox has any bearing on the engine running - could even be that

Mate I used to tell her my car was going for an oil change when ever I was having something done
She soon found me out when I kept slipping up and telling her about my new mods. If she pms you tell her these cars have to have regular coolant changes pmsl

Ok guys after having the 6speed box put in today I'm already thinking about a forged engine

This is what happened recently

Got blob rear lights on with a genuine wide track rear bumper
Arch extensions were sold to me damaged but that's another story so they're currently with Ry working his magic on them

Also genuine Prodrive skirts are on too.

Have these rear brembos ready to go on after I get hold of the Godspeed rear disc kit

Something special coming Wednesday though

Martin

Nice rimage

For those rear brembos, if that's mounting brackets in the pic you won't need to use them (I didn't have any with mine and they mounted straight up with the thicker handbrake shoes) - that's a kit for the classics that you can sell on to pay towards your next mod

Cheers Jon yep sure these are off a classic just need to get the thicker handbrake shoes. Did you get yours from Godspeed mate? Gold Sti wheels will need to go now to free up some funds
