What will happen if they get caught though, they will get 18 weeks, their friends will set up a facebook page in honour of their "brave soldier boyz" and they will be hailed as heroes. And they will end up being released after 6 weeks into their stretch.

And that is half the reason they think they will get away with it. Boot on the other foot now – would you be saying I respect the guys for doing nothing whilst they watched on as two yoofs assaulted your daughter in case they had a gun? I doubt it.

People who chip in with that sort of thing deserve a medal in my book.

I hear what you're saying but comparing it to someone being attacked is a bit off the mark really, that I wouldn't give a second thought before getting stuck in.

But at the end of day it was a Ducati, I would have let them take it then just fetched it from the end of the road after it had broken down

Reading MCN a few months back this was very common in London.
They'd steal a bike (usually no keys), 1 ****** would be on stolen bike and another behind on (usually) a scooter, he's rest his foot on the rear peg on the stolen bike and push it along.
