One of my mate's has kindly offered to take photos on the day, he posted on page 4 or 5, Samuel Ellis. I'm sure if another couple of photographers come too they will capture every moment of the day

Does he like rally cars , I am competing on the Rally GB the week after , as long as you have a venue large enough to fit everyone in as I'm sure you will get many people wanting to take part , I will bring the car i'm using on GB.

I have just posted on the Volvo Forum to see if who will be up for representing the Volvo Corner.

I will most definitely be coming. There is a small group of people from Leeds and Surrounding area, around 12 of us. So I would imagine that these guys will be turning up.

I will keep you posted on the final numbers at the end of each evening.

I hope to be there in either my five Gt turbo or megane 230 ..

 

I've spoke to zippy this morning and we really need a bigger venue for this as a matter of urgency, we spoke about the old post office nr jct 38 m1 (with a pub lol)which can hopefully hold a few hundred cars but need confirming, also there has been suggestion places like meadow hall etc.
Can people in the know with contacts and good with arranging things like this make a few calls to some local places that can and will hold this venue please post up confirmed suggestions up so it makes things easier for zippy to choose the right venue without much fuss on his behalf as he has enough to worry about.

Really sorry to hear that news. Can't imagine what they are feeling right now. Would love to go but I have only got a work vehicle at mo.

 

Zippy, you will certainly need to change the venue dude, or cap the attendance.

Your situation has ripped the hearts of many petrol heads across the entire scene and FB will magnify the situation into something that will probably be huge, maybe too huge for your little guy to enjoy?.

I am only mentioning this as I have attended similar events that have drawn huge volumes, and many didn't even reach the event through grid lock etc.
This thread will be a very small % of who turns up.

As you are fully aware chap, it's all about your little fella having a blinding time that's important.

 

I'm not sure The Old Post Office is going to be big enough. It's going to be good turnout from the responses coming.

 

i think skullfudge is correct, i am a member of a few other car forums and it seems most have members planning to go.

 

If a venue big enough can be found I think it would be a great day. Something to bring all petrolheads together as one.

 

This is it, that's why I'm pleading for people to put some more places that will allow this venue to take place with any contact numbers and who to contact, as I have no clue at these type of events.
