Yer great soft Scouse lump
Only kidding, I got "something in my eye" a few times that day.
I don't think it could have gone better, it was a great day for the lad, weather was spot on and lots of luvverly cars.
I would have let you know but I don't lurk here much anymore and I only found out a couple of days before from Connor's uncle.

Hey zippy, I would like to say thanks for giving all the motoring community the opportunity to go to the meet. I can honestly say its changed my perception on humanity. It must be dreadfull to be going through what you are, but I think Connor's situation really brought out the best in people and I hope that it gives you happy memories for years to come! Everytime I see a scooby drive past now it makes me smile in the knowledge that you guys pulled off quite a feat and despite what some trolls might say, made it a damn good day for everyone, and importantly you and connor!
hi all sorry not been on the thread lately just to let everyone know my son is still with us thank god and as said i hope that will continue to be the case for as long as possible he has surpassed the doctors estimates already and has been a fighter all his life! im so proud of him and again thank you to everyone for the kind words and support! tarmac terror the t shirt looks great mate, thanks again, scott
I haven't posted on this thread yet, but having my own 2 year old , i had tears in my eyes , i really hope your young lad gets well , just can not imagine what you feeling in the kind of situation. Must say i'm proud to be in the comunity like that thought, organising this extraorinary event for the lad. Well done everyone.

It's a shame that it's come to this, but this thread has to come to a close. ScoobyNet is not the place for family infighting.
We wish Connor the very, very best in his fight. Stay strong.
