Throwing this out there again, I am staying in the Newcastle area, (The Marriott) working out of Ashington. If there is anyone willing to pick up and return a random guy from the US, I would greatly appreciate it. I can help with petrol. It'd be amazing to make it out to this, not only is it for a great cause, but there are going to be some wicked cars there that I don't ever get to see. I think I saw a Lancia Integrale on the list, among the many others.

Hi there mate. I am travelling down from Newcastle with some other cars from NESF (North East Subaru Forum). Are you staying at the Newcastle Marriott in Gosforth? If so we are leaving at 09.00am sharp from the McDonalds Car Park in Kingston Park - which is literally 5 minutes in the car away from the Marriott. I've just had a thought, could be crazy so if it is, please tell me no lol!
I'm a driving instructor with a dual controlled car. If there is room, then I would allow Connor a go at driving around somewhere as long as it's off road etc. Obviously his dad could come along as well and get some snaps of him driving the car. Could a relative of Connor or one of the organisers please get in touch with me via PM to discuss it. Like i said. This could be a really daft idea but I thought inwould put it across anyway. Can I stress people that are not on the list please DON'T come as its full already even overflow car parks and if people just come along and think they can park on road then find out there's no room and cause a backlog of traffic, then the police may just take over and shut it down.
And people that are just hoping to come and squeeze in! in hope, there is non!

Have a get together of your own in your own area and post pictures up after for connor to see etc

Busta,
It was only tonight that I saw that you asked for the thread to be locked, but then I did notice a comment from somebody saying maybe it would be better to leave it open just in case anyone has questions etc.
As it stands, people are still asking some, and you also have some people posting to say they are no longer able to attend, and just to show support. I can understand you are trying to keep a track of what is going on, but there is a part of me that doesn't think it would be right to lock this as it would stop people just easily being able to ask questions or sending their well wishes. It also could lead to some of you being bogged down by PMs being sent.
Like I say, any problems, just RTM or feel free to PM me, I'm not on all of the day, but I will deal with anything asap once I'm back on.

I've just had a thought, could be crazy so if it is, please tell me no lol!
I'm a driving instructor with a dual controlled car. If there is room, then I would allow Connor a go at driving around somewhere as long as it's off road etc. Obviously his dad could come along as well and get some snaps of him driving the car. Could a relative of Connor or one of the organisers please get in touch with me via PM to discuss it. Like i said. This could be a really daft idea but I thought inwould put it across anyway. Here is a picture of the car
