Mate this is so so sad I can not even begin to imagine what you and your family are going through. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. 
And I am so disappointed that I can not make it. Unfortunately that night is my stag doo.
I truly hope he has a great night and I have no doubt in my mind that everyone who attends will make it as special as possible for him.

I've just read this with my Daughter cuddled up next to me and as I read more and more I could feel myself holding on to her more and more tightly
I could not imagine the pain you are in right now as a father myself I couldn't imagine how I would cope my heart goes out to you my and I hope you don't mind I will share the news with Bath and Bristol Scoobys and a few other of the car forums I'm a member of
