here you go, the A048's (soft,medium and hard) all have a 60 tread wear rating..... http://www.yokohamatire.com/tires/detail/advan_a048

Yes as you are said AD048 have 60

Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season -> 420
Conti SC 3 -> 280
Hankook RS 2 -> 200
Kumho KU36 -> 180
Bridgestone RE070 -> 140
Federal RSR 595 -> 140
Hankook RS 3 -> 140
Toyo R888 -> 100
Yokohama AD048 -> 60

thanks for info, interesting to compare. How Hankook RS2 can be sold as track tyres as on Camskill is beyond me. They are absolute rubbish, avoid at all costs.

I wanted to know both so i could get an idea of the performance and application differences. Sorry if I confused the issue. The AD08 sounds like a good road tyre, the A048's must be awesome on the track. I currently use R888's mediums for road and track which are 100, but wanted to see if A048's could be a more econonical option for the future.

I had AD08's fitted today. They feel totally different to toyo's. I'm happy with the way they hold when they get warm. Looking forward to a track day now..... Just need to pluck up some courage.

+1 for Eagle F1s, which are a good all round tyre. Excellent dry grip and still very good in the wet too.
