tyre recommendations
The car is due a new set of boots in the next few weeks and I can't decide on
What to get. Currently it is on P Zeros which I can't stand. So my question is.
What would you guys recommend.

Eagle F1's or Dunlop Sport Maxx - had both over the last few years. Very good tyres. I'm sure there are many other decent ones out there, especially when you start breaking down your requirements - dry performance vs wet and so on.

Yep, found them a good all round tyre, especially for the money!
In the dry they perform well, but do start to squeal when pushed hard in the corners.
Also good in the wet, actually found them pretty good in the snow as well.
Preferred them to Goodyear Asymmetric, but these were their V1 tyres.
Just about to put 4 Yokohama Neova AD08's on, and can't wait to see how they perform!!

I used them for 95% of the parts for my FTO (they`d even give a club discount or chuck in a free keyring). Since having the Scooby I`ve had tyres from them and service is excellent mate.

I've got the Sessantas on my WR1, done about 4k on them. Liked them at first, good grip but find on Mway to be harsh with micro vibration thro steering and floor even after careful wheel balancing. Lot of weights needed eg 150gm. The previous Pirelli Rossos were a better all round tyre. Definately wouldn't buy again.

I've just come across these. Never heard of them before, but come a close second on this website for my size of wheel:

Full grid below for some more ideas:

F1's are the tyre of all-round choice though.

Well done mate. Didn't see that first time round. Gonna order some new tyres though them in the next few days, still undecided as to what to get at the moment.

There is a tread wear rating on the side walls of all tyres that givve you an idea to how soft/hard the compound is. For instance, toyo R888 mediums are 100. I think most normal road tyres are usually 200 or more. Some soft track/road tyres have a rating of nought. I know that Yoko's AD048 come in hard medium and soft but it would be nice to know the tread rating of them as well as the AD08's

- 8mm tread depth (Unlike a R-spec tyre's 4.5 - 5 mm) and a 180 UTQG Treadwar rating so you can expect resonable tread life.
