Did I read in the papers earlier in the week that the guy has a background (a bad one) and the police had to turn a blind eye to it.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/ukne...-prisoner.html

Hazell has lived with Mrs Sharp, 46, for about four years, having previously dated her daughter, Tia's 31–year–old mother Natalie Sharp.

Above ^ explains his lack of morals and twisted lifestyle. He went out with the daughter first, then got together with her mum. If that could happen, well……. It shows the subculture where relationship boundaries aren’t as rigid as the social norms expect them to be. In such case, he certainly is a prime suspect.

Grandmother and the mother of the girl are the party to this occuring IMO. They let this criminal into their lives, had weird set up where the daughter’s reject got together with the mother. What did they expect??? Just so wrong! It makes you feel so sorry for the kid, and makes you want put all of them in jail.

Hazell was jailed for 12 months in 2010 at Croydon Crown Court after being caught with a machete.

^ That is why no one is allowed to approach him. He is a bleddy unstable psychopath!

Keith, confirmed that his son had been in prison but said that since meeting Mrs Sharp he had turned his life around. "Having the family around has really sorted him out," he said.
"He is a different person and is really happy. He had a biological daughter but has never really seen her. He treated Tia like his own."

Yeah, right.

Some unbelievable stuff happens in this world.

love to know what went on, i guess something he didnt want anyone to find out, fiddling most prob, she was gonna say something so he killed her.

I really do hope he gets a cell with big bubba, poor little thing.

I really think that if hes convicted and is 100% guilty he should be Hung, me the tax payer shouldnt have to pay for scum like this to be in prison ( holiday camp )
but thats the way the world works

The other thing that strikes me as odd, was this quote from the grandmother;

Tia's mother, Natalie, was "in bits" and that she did not know where she was as "she needed to get away".

If my son or daughter was missing I would leave no stone unturned, last thing on my mind would be getting away from it all.

Very sad case of some society’s in the UK. Social breakdown.

I do hope the poor girl didn't suffer. Sadly we won't know for a while and to be honest I don't want to know.

Makes you wonder in your head though if this dirty little sod may have had some form of relationship with the child be it consent or forced and she may have said she was going to blow the cover hence his reaction etc.

Who knows.

R.I.P young lady.

Probably something sexual going on, it takes an especially devious individual to lie like that on TV.

Yeah it's social breakdown to some degree. Thing is lots of these estates are full of underclass who live in a twilight existence of zero responsibilities out of sight of mainstream society, and where duty and authority have abandoned them, they end up with no personal boundaries, just dysfunctional messd up people.

Having seen it develop from reading the papers, the state of the family did seem to tar itself with a brush. 12 year old daughter to a 31 year old mother and 29 year old father, and a 46 year old grandmother dating a 37 year old convict... all around what looks like some dreggy council ridden **** hole where god knows what goes on. It's like Shameless meets Jeremy Kyle in some Stephen King horror

Well, he's been nicked.

I'm not going to say much. It's easy to second guess from what the papers print, but I run high risk missing persons enquiries from the outset. I only hope you can believe me when I say that the Police are not as stupid as we may appear from the outside looking in. The whole situation is managed from start to finish, with a view to bringing people home safe and alive. Sadly, sometimes, that isn't possible.
At that point it moves to gathering the best evidence possible.

What do you think the odds are that the body was not missed on the first or second 'search'? Slim to none I reckon, if would have had to have been moved to the house surreptitiously, under the police and medias noses.

No but what changed then from the first to the third search regarding the legal powers and scope?

The house is either searched or it's not. It's a small council house not Wayne manor.

IN the first instance you're searching with consent of the occupier to look for a living person.

It the third instance, you're searching a crime scene to find and preserve evidence of murder.

There's quite a big difference.

In one, you'll be lifting floorboards and draining water tanks. In the other, you won't.

For a week now, the outward appearance has been that of a "find Tia" campaign, looking for a living girl.

How long do you think the murder investigation has actually been running?

It's very easy to sit back and say "should have done this, could have done that". I assure you now, no-one outside of that investigation is in possession of the full facts, and the media will have been managed so that only the facts permitted and desired to be released have been released are aired.

We'd rather look stupid and incompetent for 3 days than lose a murder conviction.

Murder conviction rates currently run above 95% for all murders.

Do you normally use dogs to search a house with the consent of the owner?

If the owner is guilty of something they don't have much choice but to consent, do they?

Seriously tony, leave it out. You're out of your element.
