Looking good there Mervy..... Hmmm I know we spoke about the wheels but I am going to have to say to leave them gold, it's growing on me more everytime I see the pictures and even more so when I seen the car. I'll get a pint of my degreaser ready for you as well to bring to the next meet if you wish? Plus some tar remover.
Yes I defo like the wheels in gold Merv they add colour to the car which is a great contrast to white
Cheers Si I'm swaying towards keeping them gold too even though they're not the original wheels, it looks original but with a twist, if you know what I mean! If my brakes fitted under OEM wheels then I'd have them
Looks tidy, did you get it trimmed yourself and if so do you mind telling how much - mine is looking a bit shiny and I need to decide whether to replace or retrim
What block is it? This one I've got here is not in the best condition
as you have said the bottom end has gone which i know. long as the heads are ok it was a win win for me it coming with the car .
its had a bit of work done at rcm, with 18k on it close to home. just need to sort out picking the engine up off you now!! just wish we could have fitted it on the recovery truck at the same time!!! lol
version 5 sti block with roger clark 0.50 oversize omega pistons, roger clark uprated oil pump, roger clark oil modine, with standard sti crank, rods and bearing's.
should be ok for the daily r as i said to you not wanting to spend massive amount on this one. everything is going on the project r
