Well today we have had ours 6 months exactly.Boy its flown. We have now done 3910 miles.Got up this morning and realized the 6 months anniversary, service due..rang dealer Keith Price Abergavenny. Bring it down.Serviced and returned by 12. Thats its 3rd oil change now...times gone so fast I have yet to open the car up properly...gonna have to find some time for a proper blast. Absolutely still loving the car,no regrets at all.Shes a keeper.

I've had mine three months today actually, second oil change booked for the end of this month. Should have 2.5k on her by then. I think I got the first thousand miles out of the way in less than a week

You'll enjoy it when you do give her some beans but I've got a lot of respect for someone who can restrain themselves that well for six months

I did 1000 in the 1st week, but it rains a lot here lol so it tends to stay in the garage and we drive something else. Im quite happy cleaning and preening and having the odd go..although the mrs uses it a little more often.

I put Becky on the insurance for mine in case of emergency but she's welcome to drive it whenever she wants. Doubt she'll be driving it much though, I think she's still a bit scarred after I encouraged her to boot it in second. She much prefers her ecotec diesel Fiesta!

Yeah, it's shocked others too on this end. Makes me wonder if a few of the people who have reviewed Imprezas in the press are aware of this Sport# mode...

I wanted AWD, I wanted performance and I wanted some practicality, but I also wanted soemthing that I could turn up to a clients in and not be judged as being too flash...

My Scooby dealer on the other hand is brilliant - they went out of their way to try and help me find the right car, borrowing the Cosworth from the MD of Subaru UK to fit in with a test drive I needed.

The car has its faults, as do all cars. Doubtless there are aspects that could have had more work, but I guess the overall cost of development meant they had to draw the line somewhere.

It is faster than anything I have ever driven, handles like a dream, and I like the fact that it is a limited edition (i've number 75). I know others on here dont share my views that this is a great car, but I sure as heck love mine.

If you had a 330s then you have already lived with this kind of car, but this just takes the performance up a notch or 4 - plus with that bit of Cosworth magic. Like others on here I remember the Cosworths of the 80's and I love that I have a Subaru Cosworth now. Its not trying to be a ford from the 80's - it is what it is, and I dont get that Cosworth are anything less than happy with their end result, and neither am I.
I with you mate.....love mine, although do miss my WR1 now and again....when you want to fit in at the "meets"

Why is it that yesterday in 4inches new snow - fwd diesel vw touran pottered about no probs
But took Cossie out and was terrified - it was all over the place - I thought 4wd the biz for these conditions - the answer prob is - got over excited and was driving too fast - but even so...
Bizarrely in 24hrs it's all melted - will have to do a bungee jump today, to get same adrenaline rush.

You need to understand how a four wheel drive car behaves in such conditions and it all depends on your tyres.

I can honestly say that my STi hatch was possibly the worst car I've ever driven in snow and ice on it's OEM tyres. Now use winter tyres and it's transformed into possibly the best car I've ever driven in snow and ice.

Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D 225/45R17. Had them a couple of years now so have since been superceded by the 4D which apparently is even better again.
