If its in such good condition and you're confident that it will go up in value why would you want to get rid??
I agree that a fiesta rs turbo is a great car and when I was 18 I would have been over the moon to have one.

Not many people will want to go from a 450bhp scoob to a 130bhp Fiesta RS Turbo, classic or not, of course if it were a series 1 Escort RST, maybe but get some pics up in the members gallery, I do like the classic hot hatches

I dont care what model, year or special extra tasty modifications have been done to it... at the end of the day it'll always be a FIESTA.
Altho in contradiction to that a few months ago I saw an F-reg Fiesta XR2 in white... literally showroom condition, this car must have lived its entire life in someones climate controlled garage, coz it was immaculate and I mean like brand new. The guy wanted 3 grand for it and I was sooooo tempted... as said, it reminded me of being 18 again.
But I digress, as stated, who would be happy going from 450bhp to 130bhp, not to mention going from a beautiful marvel of Japanese engineering to one of the most boring looking, zero street cred cars that Britain has churned out for the budget orientated masses.

Actually the fiesta's dont hold their money anything like the E RST's, especially the S1's which go for silly money now, its like the Peugeots, 205's go for more money than the 309 GTI's, even though they had the same 1.9ltr engine, and really, would you want an f rst from a 450bhp+ Subaru as a part ex?
No doubt the next step upwards will be an Audi RS4/RS6.

it was an offer, OP does not have to accept but it certainly does not need people ****ting on someone elses car when it is quite frankly nothing to do with them.
to the OP good luck with the sale, I am very suprised its still around at this price and to Russel Hector dont listen to the people on this thread.

Thanks for that and I am fully aware and up to date on how much classic fords are worth and how desirable they are, however did the OP say he only wants something faster? and the person saying that if the fiesta was so good why does he not keep it then does that not apply to ANY car for sale? people move on, like different things?

Sorry, lost track of the for sale thread! Was on holiday for the long weekend.
Regarding the fiesta, thanks for the offer but I am moving toward buying a car which wont lend itself to being modified, or that has an active community following it to entice me on to do things to it It costs too much now that I am buying a house, sadly.
Yes, it is still for sale. Had a couple of people arrange a viewing but noone has yet seen it. I too am surprised it hasn't sold yet. I had to fight off other buyers in Jan when I bought it! The economy cant have changed THAT much since then and it is in better shape than ever thanks to my spending and efforts.
I will put it on the bay eventually to get some more exposure, but would rather see it go to someone who has owned a scooby before, who knows what a modified JDM offers and who isn't going to write it off.

If that was an estate, then yes, I would have. Thanks for the offer though.
Still had noone view it. Someone seems interested from the bay though. We shall see.
Had plenty of low offers, but i would rather keep the car than to let it go for too low. Not ideal for me, but i would rather enjoy the car than lose out.

I would stick it on Pistonheads mate as you have more chance of a sale plus less messers. I am shocked that it hasn't sold yet tbh!
P.s- where did you get the Dipol gearbox lock from?

Dipol was direct from subaru main dealer. I had the last one in the area and the guy said he hadn't seen one for about 5 years. They used to be popular but because insurance companies dont recognise them, it didnt sell as well. Wasnt cheap though, £158 or something, just for parts. Well worth it though.
