Defi gauges.....fitting??

Personally my best advice is if you are unsure then leave alone!
Great thread this guys as I need to fit a oil pressue and temp gauge....they are Apexi EL Series 2 gauges.
Do you have any links to pictures of the fitting or the parts I need? I have the gauges buts thats it. I need to mount them somewhere too....

That's the business, above, unless your oil PRESSURE sender is small, like Defi ones, and physically fits where the original oil, pressure SWITCH fits, and you aren't bothered about keeping the o/p warning light.
THEN you just need the larger brass fitting and it's washer..........although mine is in with PTFE tape and doesn't leak, no washer.

Dear God..........do it right, don't use a sandwich plate.
Yes, there are issues, of course, there are, that's one reason we DON'T USE SANDWICH PLATES, they are the devil's spawn.
If you are lazy enough to use one, then route the wires well away, and zip-tie them to something cooler.
And don't whine when your gauges read wrong

They can be routed away from the headers with ease mate, just come up through the front subframe and straight against the bulkhead and into one of the bungs into the cabin area, couldn't be easier.
