The reason why i asked if it was the feel because from what i heard Evos feel slower due to the twin scroll, that would maybe explain why there are so many big powered ones out there.
350bhp in a classic on the 1/4 mile would be very low 12's, 360+hp under 12's with a good driver. That would smoke your Fiat mate.
Modify it, if it still aint your cuppa then strip and recoup your cash.

Out of interest anybody know how much it would cost to get a turbine wheel with shaft and compresser wheel balanced?

The guys from here, "Big D" im sure his username is. I think its not far away from standard in that video. It is an sti though mate.
From what i read with 360bhp and 330lb ft he did it in like 11.8.
Better speaking to him or someone who knows him.

Im not saying they're the be all and end of and are totally unbeatable. Im just showing the guy what can be acheived on the 1/4. On roads round my way Subarus are better suited as theres not much in the way of a long straight
On the motorway your skyline would be better suited ofcoarse.

Haha nice skyline mate but never warned to R33's
If it was an R32 however id be very interested..
As I said above I'm just gonna crack on and tune her up
Stripping the mildly ported V3 sti heads this weekend and going to enjoy doing some porting been ages since I got the carbides out.
Also which inlet is regarded best for flow?
The inlet from V3 onwards seem a little flawed as the runner lengths are quite a bit longer on one side owing to the hump needed for front entry turbos.
My hunch is that the early inlets are best but happy to be educated
Anybody measured the specific volume of the runners on various inlets?
Davey

Good spec. My old 96 wagon ran 398hp on v power on the same but for a forged bottom end and 6 speed. In theory the right 754 might stay together.
Its shocking how many people say evo's even when tuned can be boring!
I'm wandering about this;
Buy an ok sti v7/8 bottom end
Put the v3 sti heads on
Get a 20g td05
A late 754 box
And esl but run mafless
Plus exedy clutch
400 capable?
I'm tempted to stick at it on the wrx as the handling and braking is all sorted and there no rust.
I find it hard working in the car with a small garage and use the car to get some 25 miles to work 8 days a month so it always has to be working and not in parts across garage floor lol
Wandering bout getting a little runaround so I can get stuck in now..
