This is the issue when swapping maps, the V Power map will have a different fuel ratio than the V Power+methanol map. If there isn't enough fuel then the mixture will lean out and the results not good. Theoretically you could run just methanol and indeed Andy F. has, the only issue is getting enough of it in to the engine. Whilst there are all these fancy additives petrol is still the king when it comes to power to weight ratio yields.

I know syvecs is pretty on it with control when it comes to slight variations of fuel and switchable maps etc, but how do more common ecus like esl and apexi for example cope????
