That drifting was SICK! But you could see that one coming. The "But..." is hilarious.

Red face

Agree with chris P1, the way he was driving wasnt quick, all that 4wd drift slows the car down and that elise was the quicker car though the corners, that said he was probably just playing but on a track full of cars thats not a very sensible thing to do, especially 4 wheel drift as you dont have full control over the car!
Good bit of video tape though and it brings it home that track days can be either very good fun or very hazardous, depending on the way that you drive, act like he did and the outcome was already sealed, drive for the fun of it and no doubt you will have more track days to come

He goes steaming up to the ELise before the Chicane, sliding all over the place, the ELise just goes straight thru the chicane and leaves him standing.

Fantastic bit of video, think the drivers style can be summed up in one phrase.... "show off, show off, pick your nose and....etc etc"

Seeing stuff like that really puts me off doing track days tho'

Hi

Where has the video clip gone? I could view it yesterday morning but I cant access it now. The link just takes me to a French web site?

I am trying to download it to show some others.

Thanks

Well, this video was filmed at Abbeville (France)

The car belongs to the ring, and people says the driver was a good pilot....

Someone said that when you look at the video, you can see, just before the crash, that one of the tires look strange.... I didn't see anything

All i saw was driver being a plonker, taking chicane too quickly and getting car out of shape, then out of chicane and floors to catch up to elise, goes too quickly into corner, runs wide, rolls car....
